Execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines.
Deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order and expectation.
Communicate service work timeline and expectations to ensure customer retention.
Maintain quality control hardware and software, and troubleshoot issues with systems.
Answer customer questions about the state of the ABB system.
Resolve customer service-related issues while fostering customer relationships.
Document the work performed for preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance tasks.
Play an active role in various projects such as upgrades, installations, or new functionality.
Coordinate work with other groups to ensure commitments are met.
Lead Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities at customer sites.
Requirements
Associate’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of electrical/electronics, instrumentation or process control related experience required; OR HS diploma/GED and 7+ years of related experience required.
Mechanical/Electrical aptitude including a basic understanding of electrical theory and electrical safety; ability to use electrical test equipment
Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot electrical systems
Ability to identify voltage systems that are above the level 240 VAC/870 VDC.
Comfortable using basic hand tools.
Basic understanding of the paper making process and process control preferred; Exposure to DCS programming and troubleshooting is beneficial.
Travel up to 15% for training and assisting other sites as needed.
