Social Security Attorney

Role Overview

• Draft social security pleadings and filings
• Handle social security cases at the administrative, judicial and appeals stages
• Perform technical and strategic analysis of cases
• Monitor deadlines, case movements and case progress/status
• Work on matters related to accident benefits, BPC/LOAS (Continuous Cash Benefit under Brazilian Social Assistance Law), maternity benefit, special retirement/pension, and benefits related to ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).

Requirements

• Active OAB registration (Brazilian Bar Association)
• 2 to 4 years of experience in social security law
• Experience drafting legal pleadings and filings
• Experience managing social security cases
• Strong legal writing skills, organization, and responsibility with deadlines
