About this role
Role Overview
- Lead security for the Group
- Set security strategy and report to the Board
- Act as the appointed CISO for a regulated entity
- Maintain the cybersecurity framework and regulatory relationship
- Build and run operational security day to day
- Run the cyber risk-management lifecycle
- Maintain the asset inventory and monitor risks
- Notify our regulator when required
- Maintain baseline security-configuration and access-control standards
- Build security culture and run awareness program
- Support independent assurance
Requirements
- Ideally 5+ years in information security or similar roles
- Mix of hands-on SOC / detection-engineering work
- Governance or senior-management-level accountability
- Track record owning a cybersecurity framework in a regulated environment
- Real, practical experience owning a SIEM (design, tuning, operation)
- Comfortable being a named, accountable CISO to a regulator
- Clean regulatory and criminal record
- No disqualification from a director or senior-management role
- Sound personal finances
- CISSP, CISM or equivalent (nice to have)
- Prior exposure to regulatory regimes
