Senior Team Lead, Ocean Import

Role Overview

• Oversee the daily operations of the ocean import team
• Assign work, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies
• Provide guidance and support to team members
• Manage customer relationships, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Coordinate with other departments and teams, including export teams, customs brokers, and transportation providers
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and partners
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation
• Monitor industry trends and developments and make recommendations for process improvements
