About this role
Role Overview
- Provide clinical athletic training services in local orthopedic clinics
- Manage care of patients, athletes and the active population
- Significant percentage of time is direct patient contact and care
- Collaboration with physicians for optimal patient care
- Document/chart clinic notes in EPIC (EMR) with minimal mistakes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in athletic training from a Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) program
- Current athletic training certification by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC)
- Currently licensed or eligible for a State of applicable state License in Athletic Training within 30 days of hire
- Ability to complete American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS) within 30 days of hire
