Perform all day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Assist in collating information required for VAT and tax reporting, which is handled by external specialists.
Process incoming and outgoing payments.
Perform bank reconciliations.
Process and prepare supplier payments.
Maintain prepayments, accruals, and fixed asset registers.
Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts for the respective companies.
Reconcile inventory within the accounting system.
Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, with assistance from local experts.
Assist the team in coordinating and liaising with external parties, including auditors, accounting firms, tax advisers, corporate secretarial agents, and local tax and government authorities where required.
Maintain intercompany balances by reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
Ensure consistent accounting codes are used in line with the Group Chart of Accounts.
Assist with the implementation of new processes and system integrations.
Work closely with the wider Finance team to ensure alignment in ways of working.
Requirements
Qualified accountant, or part-qualified with ACCA qualification in its final stages.
Minimum of two years' experience in accounting; audit experience is considered an advantage.
Willing to travel internationally when required.
Experience working with multiple legal entities across different jurisdictions is considered beneficial.
