Manage powder coating process parameters including powder mixing ratios, recycled powder usage, coating quality, and product output to meet quality and delivery targets.
Perform quality inspections and testing including DFT (Dry Film Thickness), Impact Test, Scratch Test, Bend Test, and Gloss Level Test while maintaining production and maintenance records.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, chemical handling regulations, continuous improvement programmes, and training of co-associates to support operational excellence.
Requirements
ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification.
2 years and Maximum 5 years of experience in Powder Coating Booth Operations within a manufacturing environment.
Experience operating Electrostatic Powder Coating Guns and Pretreatment (PT) Lines.
Knowledge of powder coating processes, coating quality standards, and process control parameters.
Experience performing coating quality inspections including DFT, Impact, Scratch, Gloss, and Bend Tests.
Understanding of chemical handling, workplace safety standards, PPE compliance, and preventive maintenance practices.
Flexible to work in shifts.
