National Account Strategic Underwriter

Role Overview

• Provide strategic and analytical underwriting support for national account clients
• Create competitive, financially sound proposals for business growth and renewals
• Collaborate on RFPs
• Lead contract customization and negotiations
• Assist in the technical development of underwriting associates

Requirements

• Requires a BA/BS in Finance, Actuarial Science, Business, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years in large group insurance underwriting, actuarial analysis, or strategic finance
• ASA/FSA, CFA, or CEBS credentials preferred
• National Accounts experience strongly preferred
• ASO and/or Self-funded experience strongly preferred
• Fully insured and/or stop-loss experience preferred
• Financial background and/or consulting experience preferred.
