itD is seeking a Technical Program Manager – Data Science Portfolio to drive visibility, prioritization, and execution across a growing portfolio of data science initiatives supporting Infra Enablement within IDC. This role enables data-driven decision-making by aligning technical roadmaps with organizational priorities and ensuring cross-functional teams deliver measurable business impact.
Responsibilities:
- Drive visibility, prioritization, and execution across operational and transformative data science initiatives
- Align technical roadmaps with organizational OKRs and long-term strategic objectives
- Develop and streamline project intake processes and resource allocation frameworks to optimize throughput
- Monitor portfolio performance, track milestones, and prepare executive-ready summaries on status, risks, and success metrics
- Leverage advanced analytical techniques to extract insights from structured and unstructured data to inform decisions
- Guide teams on analytical design, modeling approaches, and data visualization best practices
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across engineering, infrastructure, and data science teams to ensure alignment and clear communication
- Drive continuous improvement across systems, tools, and portfolio management processes
- Support ongoing production needs, incident tracking, and operational requests as required
- Attend regular internal practice community meetings
- Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership
- Complete client case studies and learning materials (blogs, media material)
- Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice
- Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual)
- Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities
Requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience in technical program, project, or portfolio management (CW Level III–IV equivalent)
- Experience supporting data science, analytics, or technical engineering teams
- Strong portfolio oversight and prioritization experience across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis, modeling, and data visualization
- Proven experience aligning technical initiatives to business objectives and OKRs
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Experience driving operational process improvements (intake, resource allocation, reporting)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience required
- Background in data science or analytics workflows
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, and dashboarding/visualization tools
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira or Asana
- Experience in portfolio management or Chief of Staff–type strategic roles
- Exposure to AI infrastructure or large-scale technical organizations
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
