Cash App, a part of Block, is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead the positioning and marketing of their core peer-to-peer products. This role involves strategy, storytelling, and go-to-market execution to enhance customer engagement and product adoption.
Responsibilities:
- Own positioning and messaging for core peer-to-peer products, grounded in customer insights and differentiated in the market
- Partner with Product and Design to influence roadmap and feature development, shaping value propositions early in the product lifecycle
- Lead go-to-market strategy and execution for launches and major iterations, including audience definition, narrative development, channel strategy, and measurement
- Drive adoption and engagement, partnering with Growth, Lifecycle, and Cross-functional marketing teams to move customers from first use to habitual usage
- Partner with Customer Insights and Data Analytics to define success metrics, design experiments, and evaluate performance
- Translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling stories that align cross-functional teams and resonate with customers
Requirements:
- 5+ years in product marketing, ideally within consumer products, fintech, or network-effect businesses
- Proven experience in owning end-to-end product marketing, from early strategy and positioning, through launch and long-term retention
- Experience partnering closely with Product, Design, Growth and Analytics to influence decisions
- A customer-centric mindset, with the ability to translate customer insights and quantitative data into compelling narratives and go-to-market strategy
- Demonstrated comfort with measurement and experimentation, including defining success metrics, developing measurements plans in partnership with analytics and research teams, evaluating performance and applying insights to improve outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of simplifying complex ideas for broad audiences
