Run Relay is a hyperlocal influencer marketing platform that connects local businesses with micro-creators in their community. They are seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to own the inbound lead generation strategy and execution for The Grid launch, focusing on top-of-funnel lead generation and leveraging AI tools throughout the marketing stack.
Responsibilities:
- Inbound lead generation strategy and execution for The Grid launch and beyond
- Paid acquisition across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and emerging channels
- SEO and content marketing to drive organic discovery from local business owners
- Landing page optimization, A/B testing, and conversion rate experimentation
- Email marketing and nurture sequences to convert leads into activated users
- Growth experiments: viral loops, referral programs, partnerships, community plays, and anything else that moves the needle
- Analytics and attribution: building dashboards, tracking CAC, and reporting on what is working
- Collaboration with the founder and marketing lead on messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or demand generation, ideally at a startup or in a scrappy environment
- A high-agency operator with 2–3 years of real ownership, fast experimentation, and a bias for action
- Hands-on experience running paid campaigns (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads) and can set up, optimize, and scale them yourself
- Deeply analytical: you live in spreadsheets and dashboards and make decisions based on data, not gut feelings
- A builder and experimenter who would rather ship 10 small tests in a week than spend a month perfecting one campaign
- Understanding of SEO/AGO fundamentals and can create or direct content that ranks
- Ability to write well, crafting ad copy, email sequences, and landing page content that converts
- Comfortable working asynchronously with a distributed, fractional team
- Energetic and enthusiastic about AI and actively find ways to incorporate it into daily workflows
- Experience marketing to small/local businesses
- Familiarity with influencer marketing
- Experience with product-led growth
