Software Engineer III - React/UI developer

Candescent is the leading cloud-based digital banking solutions provider for financial institutions, transforming digital banking with intelligent solutions. They are seeking a Front-end developer with expertise in React.js and modern front-end frameworks to build scalable, user-centric web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Front-End developer with 6+ years of professional experience in building scalable, responsive and user-centric web applications
• Proficient in React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and modern front-end frameworks
• Experience in building NestJS, Rest APIs and authentication flow (JWT, OAuth)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Experience working in Native & Hybrid Cloud environment
• Experience in Container Management including Docker and Kubernetes, on cloud platforms like GCP
• Knowledge of version control (Git) branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews
• CI/CD - GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins
• Working on Visual Studio code (VS Code)/IntelliJ
• Ability to analyze user and business requirements to create technical design requirements and software architecture
• Excellent communication and team player with can-do attitude
• Experience in Agile Scrum methodologies and working with distributed teams
• Experience with SAFe methodologies
• Deep knowledge and understanding to create secure solutions by design
• Cross team communication - Working with backend, Testing team, Product owners and designers
• Problem solving and ownership mindset
• High attention to detail to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, software engineering or proven work experience in related fields
