Sr. Mobile React Native Engineer/Remote

Apetan Consulting LLC is seeking a Senior Mobile React Native Engineer to support a 10 person Cloud Native development team. The consultant will be responsible for building cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native, while focusing on testing and development practices.

Responsibilities:

• Building cross-platform mobile applications for iOS, Android and React Native environments
• Focusing on testing/TDD
• Using Java, Objective-C, JavaScript and XML

Requirements:

• Strong experience developing React Native mobile applications
• Must be able to program for both iOS and Android
• Experience with JavaScript, JSX, and SML
• Experience with Java and Objective-C
• Experience developing APIs using JavaScript
• Able to travel to client site 1-2 weeks per month, expenses paid
• Experience with Redux
• Familiar with concepts such as Virtual DOM, JSX and component lifecycle
