LG Electronics is a global leader in technology dedicated to creating innovative solutions for a better life. They are seeking a hands-on Project Engineer I to coordinate and deliver high-quality DVLED installations, serving as the primary technical liaison throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Partner for Success—coordinate with project managers and keep every moving piece on track
- Train the best in the business—deliver hands-on DVLED installation and product operation sessions for integrators, tech teams, and LG staff
- Be the face of LG on-site—serve as the primary technical liaison for sales teams, partners, and vendors
- Provide critical product feedback to improve next-gen DVLED solutions
- Work with Technical Engineering to solve tough installation or configuration challenges
- Conduct site readiness inspections to ensure flawless execution before install day
- Verify inventory, packing lists, and BOM accuracy before work begins
- Roll up your sleeves—install, wire, and align DVLED systems, mounts, and peripherals
- Maintain precise project documentation and submit daily updates to the Project Manager
- Support high-profile marketing events, trade shows, and live demos
- Offer remote technical support when needed
- Champion customer needs and share innovative ideas with LG HQ Product Management
Requirements:
- Technical School EET Certification or equivalent
- 2–4 years of hands-on DirectView LED installation experience
- Experience with Virtual Production workflows
- Knowledge of site safety procedures, safe tool use, and ladder safety
- Familiarity with DVLED technology, mounting systems, and safe LED module handling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and design software (e.g., SketchUp, Visio)
- Ability to read and interpret A/V, electrical, and mechanical drawings
- Strong working knowledge of IT, networking, and A/V systems
- Exceptional interpersonal, time management, and decision-making skills
- Sharp problem-solving skills with a knack for troubleshooting in the field
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment safely
- Comfort in high-pressure, fast-paced environments—both independently and on teams
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%) within the U.S
- Valid U.S. driver's license
