Lead Middleware Engineer- Tuxedo/ WebLogic

PTR Global is seeking a Lead Middleware Engineer with a background in Tuxedo. The role involves implementing enhancements, monitoring product health, and collaborating with client teams to ensure a consistent customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Implement enhancement changes, monitor product health, and perform capacity planning
• Resolve production issues and design initiatives to evolve services
• Collaborate with client teams to ensure a consistent customer experience
• Monitor solution health to meet established SLAs and address performance degradation, capacity concerns, and outages
• Ensure system health during maintenance events such as patching and upgrades
• Evaluate technology effectiveness and recommend improvements for solution consistency and reliability
• Contribute to strategic capacity planning and operational activities
• Monitor key performance metrics and address escalated issues

Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• 5+ years of experience in software development engineering with C/C++, JAVA, PL/SQL, and shell scripting
• 5+ years of experience with Middleware use and configuration (Tuxedo, WebLogic, Tomcat)
• 5+ years of AIX sysadmin experience and associated tools
• 5+ years of experience with monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field preferred
