Business Intelligence Programming Analyst – REMOTE

Radiant Systems Inc is seeking a Business Intelligence Programming Analyst to support a major medical device client. The role involves gathering reporting requirements, developing reports and dashboards, and collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with standards.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with reporting teams and clinical project teams, as needed, to gather clinical report and data listing needs and requests to ensure that all report/data requirements are clearly understood and meet the requestor’s expectations
• Participate in requirement gathering, design, development, unit testing, user acceptance testing, and maintenance of clinical study reports and data deliverables for multiple clinical studies (databases) in accordance with department SOPs
• Develop reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools
• Work closely with Report Development and Validation teams to ensure report deliverables are released in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and corporate compliance standards
• Collaborate with IT teams to address and resolve technical issues

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience developing reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools, including experience with data transformation and visualization technologies
• Experience with data modeling, data transformation, and data visualization
• Knowledge of SQL and ability to write moderately complex queries
• 5+ years of experience liaising with stakeholders and documenting report requirements
• Proven ability to produce complex clinical study reports
• Experience working in a regulated environment and adherence to department SOPs
• Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills, proactive approach, and ability to make and clearly communicate decisions
• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline. If bachelor's degree is in a non-related discipline, 7 years of experience working as a BI Developer is required
• 3+ years of experience with major reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Cognos, SSRS, Oracle Reports, Spotfire, etc.)
• 1+ years of working knowledge of an Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system
• Knowledge of clinical research processes, clinical data processing practices, and relational database fundamentals
