Kunai builds full-stack technology solutions for financial services, aiming to modernize and evolve client businesses. They are seeking an IT Support & Systems Engineer to enhance endpoint management and operational IT support, focusing on proactive problem solving and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tier-1 and tier-2 IT support, resolving issues while maintaining a high standard of customer service
- Manage and prioritize tickets in Jira Service Management, ensuring timely tracking and resolution of incidents
- Support endpoint deployment and device management across macOS and Windows environments using Kandji and Microsoft Intune
- Lead the migration of PCs to Intune and help build secure, scalable configuration standards
- Implement and refine zero-touch provisioning strategies for new devices
- Administer onboarding and offboarding workflows, ensuring proper access setup, device provisioning, and secure deprovisioning
- Support identity and access management workflows, including Okta integrations, SAML/SCIM configuration, and workflow automation
- Identify opportunities to streamline IT operations through automation and AI-driven tooling
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to maintain compliance, documentation, and operational consistency
Requirements:
- Strong experience supporting macOS and Windows environments, including device management platforms such as Kandji and Intune
- Hands-on administration experience with at least three productivity or collaboration platforms such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Jira, Confluence, or 1Password
- Working knowledge of SOC II compliance principles and security best practices
- Experience using Jira Service Management or comparable ticketing systems
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service focus
- Comfort leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency, documentation, and workflow management
- Bachelor's Degree, in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college is required
- Direct experience migrating PCs to Microsoft Intune and building configuration policies
- Hands-on experience with Okta Workflows or scripting automation
- Experience supporting distributed or remote-first organizations
- Additional familiarity with SOC II environments and audit readiness
