Wurl, LLC is a company focused on creating innovative technologies that enhance the streaming experience. They are seeking a Senior Product Manager for Advertising to lead product evolution, manage advertising capabilities, and drive performance analysis to optimize revenue across various channels.
Responsibilities:
- Product Evolution: Drive new monetization capabilities and optimize yield by interfacing with supply, demand, and distribution partners, validating feature requirements with customers and partners
- Product Roadmap: Lead cross functional conversations with Sales, Engineering, and Ad Operations stakeholders to develop and launch roadmap features across our advertising business unit
- Core Infrastructure: Evolve high-availability infrastructure, automation, and monitoring processes to support global scale. Define success metrics & KPIs and continuously support performance improvements
- Performance Analysis: Analyze inventory and demand performance to provide actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- 5+ years managing product lifecycles, working closely with engineering and operational teams
- Experience with Jira, Confluence or similar PM tools
- 5+ years of deep technical experience with OpenRTB, VAST, and SCTE-35 ecosystems
- Strong understanding of SSAI, SSP, and DSP workflows
- Experience with processing data at scale in a high-availability framework
- Proficient in translating complex data into visualizations and business decisions
- Strong documentation skills, including workflow diagrams, product requirements and go-to-market plans
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- US remote location
- Knowledge of video streaming protocols (HLS, DASH) and the SSAI (Server-Side Ad Insertion) workflow
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data mining and automation
- Experience with the AWS ecosystem and Snowflake (or similar relational databases)
- Hands-on experience with SpringServe or similar ad-serving platforms
- Proven ability to build dashboards in tools such as Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI to inform product strategy
