They are seeking a qualified technical Business Analyst with experience in creating and documenting business requirements and collaborating with stakeholders to develop analysis and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to create and document detailed business requirements, perform analysis, and outline problems, opportunities, and solutions for stakeholders
- Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate, deliver, and maintain requirements documentation
- Strong understanding of the documentation development process, the software development lifecycle, and product lifecycles
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating outputs and formats
- Improve systems by studying and documenting current‐state processes and business rules
- Ability to partner with team members and stakeholders across multiple business units to collaboratively develop analysis and documentation, communicating effectively and efficiently with executive teams
- Ability to communicate technical information to non‐technical audiences and business information to technical audiences
- Ability to successfully apply complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures related to technical writing
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams by studying system capabilities and writing detailed specifications
- Translate stakeholder requests into formal, structured requirements
- Deliver high‐quality business requirements documentation for business manuals, new development, training manuals, user guides, and system guides
- Ability to effectively communicate requirements verbally and in writing with stakeholders and development teams
- Ability to collaborate with project managers, architects, and developers to ensure business requirements are communicated, accepted, and meet expectations
- Ability to translate and simplify stakeholder requirements into written documentation for development teams, including Formal Business Requirements Documents, Functional Design Documents, Technical Design Documents, Technical Use Cases, User Stories, Business Cases, Requirements Traceability Matrices, and Test Cases
- Ability to create diagrams, flowcharts, and workflows to represent business processes
- Ability to create, manage, and maintain test cases for quality assurance
- Familiarity with software and database development concepts
- Experience working as a Technical Business Analyst on a software development team
- Experience developing technical documentation for enterprise software users, system administrators, and other technical audiences
- Strong experience in requirements management and producing comprehensive documentation
- Strong experience mapping business processes into technical documentation
