Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a results-driven and strategic Business Development Manager to join their growing team at C&W Services. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and driving revenue growth across their service offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, industry events, and inbound leads
- Utilize market research to understand trends, client needs, and competitive landscape in facility services
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to prospective clients
- Collaborate with operations and service delivery teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, pipeline forecasts, and client interactions using CRM tools
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong cold-calling and prospecting abilities
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required
- 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in facility services (e.g., janitorial, maintenance, HVAC, security)
- Knowledge of facility management procurement processes (RFPs, bidding, etc.)
- Existing network of industry contacts and decision-makers in commercial real estate, property management, or industrial sectors
- Understanding of compliance, health & safety, and service-level agreements in facility operations
