Virta Health is on a mission to reverse metabolic disease in one billion people by leveraging technology and personalized care. The HR Business Partner will support Product Development teams and foster a high-performance culture by providing strategic HR support, advising managers, and enhancing employee engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the HR Business Partner for Product Development teams (Product, Engineering, Information Security, and IT) as well as G&A functions
- Partner with leaders in assigned business units to understand their goals and provide HR solutions that align with objectives
- Support leaders in proactively managing employees by providing guidance on performance, development, and workplace issues
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and driving engagement initiatives that foster a positive work culture
- Support performance management, goal-setting, and coaching while identifying training needs and partnering with the HRBP and Employee Experience teams to implement solutions
- Build and deliver targeted training sessions that compliment Virta’s leadership development programming and enhance manager skills, knowledge, and confidence
- Assist the HRBP team with communications, policy development, and training creation to ensure effective implementation of HR initiatives
- Support employee feedback initiatives, monitor workplace trends, and recommend data-driven strategies to improve culture and team effectiveness
- Meet with business unit leaders to understand goals, assess HR needs, and provide aligned support
- Identify training needs, support performance processes, and deliver targeted manager training
- Serve as a trusted contact, address concerns, and support engagement initiatives
- Guide managers on performance, employee relations, and workplace issues to drive team effectiveness
Requirements:
- 5-7+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a high-growth environment
- Direct experience partnering with Product and Engineering organizations, including supporting technical leaders through performance management, organizational change, and team scaling in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated ability in building strong, collaborative relationships with leaders and teammates
- Experience supporting managers in performance management and employee relations for a large, non-exempt population
- Strong coaching and facilitation skills
- Highly organized with the ability work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously, comfortable with high volume workload and willing to 'roll up your sleeves'
- Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information
- Knowledge of HR compliance regulations, employment laws, and industry best practices
- Familiarity with ADP, Slack and gSuite
