DevOps /AWS Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a DevOps /AWS Engineer for a Contract with a client in Raleigh, NC. The role involves designing and implementing scalable AWS cloud infrastructure and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to support enterprise applications
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and integration of applications
• Configure and manage AWS services, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance with industry standards
• Implement automated monitoring and alerting solutions using tools like Amazon CloudWatch and Splunk for real-time system performance tracking
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, networking, and security to enable seamless cloud operations
• Support cloud migration initiatives and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues to ensure system reliability and performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS and 3+ years in DevOps practices
• Strong expertise in designing and automating CI/CD pipelines and writing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Experience with AWS services, monitoring tools like Splunk or CloudWatch, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
