About this role
Optum is a global leader in health care innovation, developing solutions that improve health outcomes. They are seeking a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain tooling and infrastructure for automating release and deployment processes, while improving collaboration between development and operations teams.
Responsibilities:
- Cloud/On Prem Engineering aspects to Build and maintain the tooling and infrastructure used to automate the release, deployment, and upgrade processes
- Combines software development and IT operations practices which shorten the systems delivery life cycle and provide a continuous delivery platform
- Improve communication and collaboration to enable rapid product development by serving as the liaison between the development and operations teams
- Dev-Ops area complements the efficiencies of Agile software development methods by creating more stable operating environments, and continuously improving the infrastructure to be easily deployable and scalable
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience with Azure Administration: I/O, network, procurement, governance
- Experience with GIT Actions/Jenkins workflow
- Experience with Ansible scripting templates
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD
