Beth Israel Lahey Health is a growing healthcare organization dedicated to making a difference in people's lives. They are seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to assist with the development, configuration, implementation, and support of system integration solutions while collaborating with multiple teams and key customers.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of integration solutions. Must be able to manage/multitask on several large assigned projects
- Gathers requirements, performs analysis, develops, and maintains interfaces and applications. May include cross-team coordination and cooperation within the EHR application team, Ancillary team, or vendors
- Participate in resolving cross-functional issues that are escalated throughout the development, testing, implementation, and support of the lifecycle
- Supports assigned production environments, troubleshoots technical application issues, documents incoming requests, whether handled internally in IS or with a vendor. Delivers high-quality support during the implementation of new interfaces
- Provides on-call/after-hours support as required
- Prepares and maintains documentation, including analysis, design, programming, and standard procedures
- Performs all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department and/or customer
- Achieve and maintain required certifications, if applicable
Requirements:
- Epic Bridges or Interface engine and Health Connect experience
- High School diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of related work experience working in an Information Services department or software vendor organization within the healthcare industry
- Advanced technical computer skills as required for technical support specific to the functional area and related systems
- Ability to manage/multitask on several large assigned projects
