The Finance Project Manager will lead cross-functional financial initiatives to improve financial insight, streamline processes, and align with strategic business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage and monitor project budgets, forecasts and financial reports
- Track project spend and provide actionable insight to stakeholders
- Lead end‑to‑end financial projects including process automation, reporting enhancements, integrations, and compliance initiatives
- Develop plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring all deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule expectations
- Conduct financial modeling, forecasting, and cost‑benefit analyses to support project decisions and business cases
- Partner with FP&A, Accounting, IT, Procurement, and business units to align financial projects with corporate strategy
- Monitor financial performance of projects, assessing ROI, budget adherence, risk and long‑term financial impact
- Serve as liaison between finance teams and cross‑functional partners
- Communicate project updates, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership through presentations and dashboards
- Facilitate meetings and decision‑making sessions to ensure alignment and accountability
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, implement best practices, and improve data quality and integrity
- Support compliance initiatives with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards
- Define project governance frameworks and standardized practices within the finance organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, accounting, or financial operations
- Proven experience managing cross‑functional projects
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems
