SAP Senior / Principal Business Analyst — Finance Close Automation (SAP S/4 HANA)

Droisys is an innovation technology company focused on helping companies accelerate their digital initiatives. They are seeking a Senior / Principal Business Analyst to design and implement an enterprise Financial Close Automation solution integrated with SAP S/4 HANA, collaborating with various teams to enhance financial close processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements discovery, fit-gap analysis, and future-state process design for Financial Close Automation integrated with SAP S/4 HANA
• Facilitate workshops with Finance and IT stakeholders to refine close process, dependencies, controls, and end-to-end workflows
• Drive solution design across GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets and key integration points with Procurement, Operations, and Logistics
• Define and implement close task scheduling, monitoring, orchestration, alerts, dashboards, and critical path management
• Design account reconciliation workflows including preparer/reviewer steps, audit trails, evidence management, and IPE support
• Define transaction matching rules, exception handling, and automation optimization
• Design auto-journaling and manual journal validation/loading with SOX-aligned approvals and segregation of duties, including posting integration to SAP
• Partner with vendors/implementation partners and internal teams to deliver a scalable solution aligned with IT standards and Finance needs
• Embed SOX, segregation of duties, and audit evidence requirements into process and system design; produce audit-ready documentation
• Lead UAT planning/execution, defect triage, training, cutover, and rollout planning for a global user community
• Where applicable, define and enable AI-assisted capabilities (e.g., anomaly detection, matching intelligence, journal recommendations, variance narratives) with appropriate explainability and compliance

Requirements:

• 10+ years (typically 10–15+) of senior Business Analysis experience in Finance / Record-to-Report / Financial Close process and systems
• Deep functional expertise in Month/Quarter/Year-End Close and related controls (SOX/IPE)
• Strong SAP S/4HANA Finance experience, including SAP GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, plus integration knowledge with Procurement, Operations, and Logistics
• Hands-on experience implementing enterprise financial close solutions such as BlackLine, OneStream, Redwood, Cadency, or similar platforms
• Experience delivering solutions in large, global enterprises (multi-region operations, high-volume close, complex org structures)
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills (requirements, user stories, functional specs, process flows)
• Experience implementing financial solutions at Big Pharma
• Experience implementing AI/ML-enabled finance automation with appropriate controls and auditability
• Master data harmonization and SAP integrations
• Relevant certifications (SAP S/4 HANA, BlackLine/OneStream/Redwood, CPA/MBA) are a plus
