M-Files is a global company redefining how work gets done with its AI-native document management system. They are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead Competitive Intelligence, focusing on AI-driven capabilities and market positioning to identify competitive opportunities and risks.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining a structured competitive intelligence program including win/loss
- Analyzing competitors' product capabilities, roadmap signals, AI positioning, and go-to-market strategies
- Monitoring, aggregating, synthesizing and communicating market trends and emerging AI use cases relevant to M-Files
- Delivering clear, actionable insights to product management, go-to-market teams and leadership
- Assessing competitive positioning in AI-driven automation, content intelligence, and enterprise information management
- Identifying competitive gaps and opportunities aligned with Board-level priorities
- Partnering with Product Management to translate findings into roadmap recommendations
- Creating and maintaining battlecards, objection-handling guides, and competitive messaging
- Supporting Sales with deal-specific competitive insights when needed
- Conducting internal training sessions to improve competitive fluency
- Acting as the bridge between Product, Marketing, Sales, and Services on competitive topics
- Ensuring messaging reflects current product capabilities and roadmap direction
- Sharing structured insights with leadership on competitive risks and opportunities
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in product marketing, competitive intelligence, product strategy, consulting, or similar roles
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex insights into clear recommendations
- Demonstrated interest or experience in AI-related technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hands-on, self-starter mindset - comfortable building processes from the ground up
- Prior experience in the DMS/ECM market
- Background in enterprise software or B2B SaaS
- Experience creating sales enablement materials (battlecards, competitive decks, win/loss summaries)
