Forescout Technologies Inc. is a leader in cybersecurity solutions, protecting critical infrastructure from cyberattacks. They are seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer to bridge the gap between engineering, product management, sales, and marketing by creating and delivering technical content that demonstrates the value of their solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop technical content with Product Marketing team such as whitepapers, solution briefs, blogs, as well as engaging explainer videos, tutorials, and best-practice demos
- Create technical slide decks and presentations for sales teams, webinars, and conferences
- Build and maintain demo environments, proof-of-concept scenarios, and scripts for field and marketing enablement
- Deliver internal training sessions for sales engineers and partners
- Provide competitive intelligence through technical comparison documents and battle cards
- Lead technical webinars, workshops, and hands-on labs that showcase product value
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and cybersecurity conferences
- Engage with technical communities to drive product awareness and adoption
- Platform demonstrations for global analyst firms
- Work closely with Product Management to translate complex features into customer-focused value propositions
- Provide technical feedback from customers, partners, and the field to influence product direction
- Partner with Product Marketing to ensure technical accuracy in messaging and campaigns
Requirements:
- Min of 5 years of experience with a strong background in networking and security technologies, including switching, routing, and firewalls
- Hands-on experience configuring or demonstrating enterprise-class network or security products
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills — comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency with PowerPoint and other presentation or video tools for creating demos, technical decks, and customer-facing materials
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with attention to technical accuracy
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales Engineering, and Marketing teams
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can manage multiple priorities
- Networking certifications preferred (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, Network+, or equivalent experience)
