Arvest Bank is committed to helping people find financial solutions for life. The Division Project Manager is responsible for delivering project outcomes on time and within budget, managing project scope, resources, and risks while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures completion of feasibility, risk, regulatory compliance, and Return On Investment (ROI) analyses and business benefits for proposed projects
- Presents a recommendation related to project feasibility and resource requirements
- Establishes project scope with business representatives and/or Business Analysts
- Develops project plans, manages resources, the project schedule and budget to meet deliverables
- Maintains all reporting requirements as needed
- Leads the project team through the project lifecycle, using an appropriate approach (e.g., agile, waterfall)
- Assesses and manages project risks for assigned projects
- Creates and implements risk mitigation plans to reduce project risk
- Interfaces with customers and management to manage expectations, provide status updates on the project and discuss concerns
- Is accountable for ensuring the resolution of concerns/issues
- Participates in the development of the Request for Proposal or Request for Information process
- Ensures appropriate involvement of Bank, other internal stakeholders and external resources according to organizational policy, such as Compliance, Information Security, and Operations
- Actively manages the execution of the project, including assigning work to project staff, managing project scope and project finances, and ensuring the quality of deliverables
- Manages changes to project scope, schedule and budget using appropriate validation techniques to keep the project plan accurate, updated, and reflective of authorized project changes
- Facilitates client acceptance of changes and their impact
- Formalizes final acceptance and closure for the project based on satisfactory achievement of outcomes from the sponsor/client
- Leads feedback sessions such as post-mortems and/or retrospectives
- Ensures the development and execution of the organizational change management plan to support the effective implementation of the project
- Ensures appropriate involvement and integration of multiple teams and vendors as required
- May lead a subordinate team
- Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties
- This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity
- May carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or relevant field of study, or equivalent relevant experience required
- 5 years of relevant experience required
- Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members
- Firm understanding of both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Experience using JIRA to manage and track projects
- Experience leading finance technology projects
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Arvest experience
