Consolidated Communications is a provider of fiber internet and network services. As a Project Manager supporting Field Operations, you will oversee complex projects, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, making adjustments as necessary to meet changing requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
- Facilitate project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and senior management on project status, risks, and issues
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
- Mentor and guide other team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress and ensure adherence to best practices
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, status reports, and lessons learned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly desirable
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on managing large, complex projects
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Telecommunications industry experience preferred
