IT Project Manager - Remote

The IT Project Manager will oversee the deployment of a Retail Branch update for a large financial client, managing vendor collaboration and ensuring the execution of network refreshes and hardware deployments across numerous retail branches.

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day coordination across vendors, engineering teams, and client stakeholders
• Track workflow progress using tools like Excel, Jira, Monday.com and Smartsheet
• Ensure readiness for site conversions and maintain accurate status logs
• Assist in oversight of support activities involving routers, cellular devices, SD-WAN appliances, and switches
• Assist in oversight of circuit installations, testing, and turn-ups for broadband and DIA internet circuits
• Act as liaison between field resources and network engineers
• Coordinate bridge technician support and ensure proper activation sequences
• Manage deliverables including before/after photos and cabling documentation
• Provide regular updates to internal and external teams
• Maintain clear documentation of site status, open items, and deployment milestones
• Participate in intake meetings, sync calls, and deployment coordination sessions

Requirements:

• 4-8 years' experience in project management in technology and/or infrastructure programs
• Experience using PC in business environment including MS Office
• Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of MS Office suite
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proficient time management skills; sense of urgency
• Basic skills in Monday.com or similar product (SmartSheet)
• Ability to track individual deployments across multiple branch locations in a single day
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt process changes mid-stream
• Ability to work flexible hours and available afterhours/weekends if required to meet project completion dates
• Some designated observation/training shifts will be required as project kicks off
• Some evening on-call designated days/evening are required
• Exposure to technology in the financial industry is a plus
• Exposure to Monday.com is a plus
• Familiarity with network equipment such as routers, switches, cellular devices
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• PMP certification preferred by not required
