Mutual of Omaha is a company focused on creating a great workplace culture. As a Marketing Manager, you will lead a high-performing team, set the strategic direction for product marketing, and ensure alignment with business objectives through effective marketing campaigns and team development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage department operations, including staffing, budgeting, expense control, employee development, and personnel decisions, while ensuring compliance with Corporate Affirmative Action guidelines and establishing clear lines of authority and accountability across product and functional teams
- Develop financial and non-financial product marketing objectives, and create comprehensive strategies for positioning, pricing, distribution, and service
- Define target markets, identify customer needs, and lead marketing campaigns while ensuring effective communication and alignment with business partners
- Analyze competitive positioning and market conditions by assessing internal and external strengths, monitoring competitor activity, and integrating regulatory and industry insights to identify opportunities and recommend risk-informed actions
- Develop and execute detailed marketing and advertising plans, including budgets and timelines; review product design alignment; and evaluate, approve, and ensure compliance of marketing materials in collaboration with internal and external partners
- Establish and oversee product training strategies and materials for launches and ongoing support, deliver training as needed, and assess the impact of compliance initiatives on marketing activities and product performance
Requirements:
- 5+ years of proven leadership experience
- Experience in marketing, including advertising and building strategic marketing plans that drive results
- Passion for leading and developing diverse teams, supporting growth while working together to achieve meaningful business goals
- Strong organizational and analytical strengths, with the ability to turn insights into clear, well-structured plans and deliverables
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of building positive relationships, influencing effectively, and leading with confidence
- Ability to thrive in complex environments and quickly absorb, connect, and apply large amounts of information across multiple priorities
- Creative mindset with experience supporting product development, including helping design and deliver product training strategies
