Senior Product Manager, Desktop Platform

Docker, Inc is a leading company in app development, making it easier for developers to focus on their core tasks. They are seeking a Senior Product Manager for the Desktop Platform to drive product vision, collaborate with engineering and design teams, and engage with the developer community.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the product vision and strategy for Docker Desktop’s platform and enterprise functionality
• Collaborate with peers in Engineering and Design to build impactful and user-centric experiences
• Prioritize tasks strategically, manage integrations across teams, and ensure seamless delivery
• Clearly communicate and align stakeholders across the organization around shared goals and measurable outcomes
• Engagement with the open-source community within the container ecosystem to ensure we continue to support the needs of the community

Requirements:

• Strong technical foundation with a computer science background and/or hands-on development experience (ideally 3+ years), enabling you to deeply understand developer needs
• Proven track record of 3+ years in product management for technical products, with particular expertise in developer tools and workflows
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, from engineers to business stakeholders
• Proactive, hands-on approach to product quality, including willingness to participate in testing and validation
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven product development
