Deepgram is the leading platform in the Voice AI economy, providing innovative speech-to-text and text-to-speech solutions. The Outbound Sales Development Representative will drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth by creating sales opportunities and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Work with our Partnerships team, Account Executives, and your fellow SDRs to build a strong sales pipeline of new logos, striving to exceed quarterly sales targets
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (especially Sales Ops and Sales Engineers) to ensure sales effectiveness
- Have a depth of understanding regarding customer needs in the ASR space, competition, and Deepgram products to be able to fully articulate our value proposition
- Research companies to find new speech recognition use cases and opportunities in the market
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a dedicated SDR role
- Prior sales experience selling a technical product
- Dynamic written and verbal communication skills
- Empathy and a unique ability to understand customer needs
- Exceptional at prioritizing complex outreach schedules and managing high-frequency touchpoints
- Experience prospecting companies that fit an ideal customer profile and understanding their business
- Consistently overachieved against sales targets in past experiences
