GivePulse, Inc. is a platform for collective impact, and they are seeking a qualified candidate to raise awareness and generate interest for their services. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for reaching out to leads, generating interest through various outreach methods, and converting leads into scheduled product demos.
Responsibilities:
- Reach out to leads (community organizers) to convey GivePulse's value proposition
- Raise awareness and generate interest for GivePulse through cold calling, emails, and social outreach to prospective customers
- Convert qualified leads into scheduled product demos with your Account Executives
- Meet or exceed assigned daily activity minimums of 40 calls and 20 emails per day
- Collaborate with team members to share and learn from best practices and improve overall effectiveness and efficiency within the role and team
- Become a power user of GivePulse's platform
Requirements:
- You've done some selling in the past and have the ability and desire to become great at software sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional fluency in English
- You want to win and you find motivation in temporary setbacks and have a high degree of resilience
- You don't believe in settling, you find ways to overachieve and keep improving
- Your ability to learn is off the charts and you are hungry for more
- Your work ethic is unmatched - anything you don't know you'll make up with hard work
- You love connecting with people online, on the phone, and face-to-face
- Problem solving and knowing when there are problems
- Getting, translating, and communicating feedback from customers
- Talking on the phone, webinar, virtual conference, leaving voicemails, and writing emails that make people fall in love with you
- Generally convincing people to do things they don't want to do
- Any kind of sales (if, for example, all you need is eye contact at the mall, or if you have ever had a conversation that ended in the other person saying, Why yes, of course I'll get all the hardcover editions of the Encyclopedia)
- You excel at presenting with or without PowerPoint via webinars, while keeping everyone on the call awake (for, like, 70% of the call-- we'll be practical here)
- You know how to manage onboarding (or having actually used the word 'onboarding' in a conversation with a real person)
- Your idea of fun involves using a CRM to track customer and company wins
- Your friends call you to help them solve tough problems
- You have an interest and passion in volunteering and community engagement issues
