Jobs via Dice is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cyber Security Project Manager with expertise in managing technology-related regulatory projects. The role involves leading projects that enhance governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of regulatory projects, including audit findings, and control remediation efforts. Develop project charters, plans, schedules, and budgets
- Manage projects that address requirements under major regulatory frameworks such as Dodd-Frank Act, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), or similar initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including compliance, risk, audit, legal, and IT to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies. Develop mitigation strategies and escalation plans to address challenges effectively
- Develop and deliver regular status reports, project updates, and dashboards for Senior leadership and stakeholders. Maintain documentation for audits and reviews
- Identify opportunities to enhance regulatory compliance processes, automate workflows, and improve project efficiency
- Provide direction to project team members, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a result-driven culture
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in managing technical and regulatory projects, with at least 2 years focused on regulatory or compliance-related technology projects
- Experience in financial services, or other regulated industries is highly desirable
- Experience managing technology projects that includes regulatory and compliance frameworks e.g., SOX
- Knowledge of control frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, or ISO 27001 is a plus
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
- Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Can work effectively with all organization levels and can tailor the communication when presenting project updates to executive management
- Expertise in project management tools such as ADO, JIRA, or Microsoft Project
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
