The Product Manager – Insurance Enablement role is responsible for the strategy, development, and execution of product features that enhance insurance product development and distribution, while collaborating with various teams to ensure operational efficiency and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the software development lifecycle of new features, products, and technology to support bringing new insurance products to market
- Collaborate with Insurance, Operations, Underwriting teams and external parties to build and manage a roadmap of enhancements that drive profitable growth with distribution partners
- Lead change management efforts with internal and external stakeholders to ensure enhancements and new products launch smoothly
- Own end-to-end execution and delivery of features and enhancements with dedicated engineering and design teams
- Implement new UI, UX, workflows, tooling, processes, and functionality to support bringing new insurance products to market
- Manage updates to underwriting rules, risk definitions, rating logic, insurance product definitions, and supporting UX/UI
- Coordinate product updates for new lines (e.g., Crime, Excess) and ensure alignment across quoting, submission data, and hazards
- Manage updates for quoting workflows, quote letters, binders, and policies
- Coordinate with vendors to implement and support insurance product changes
Requirements:
- 3–7 years of proven experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS company
- Strong track record of managing internal and external relationships and leading change management initiatives
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate business requirements into scalable product solutions
- Strong project management skills with experience driving projects through completion
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across business, operations, and engineering teams
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and partner demands simultaneously
- Familiarity with insurance and/or underwriting systems
