As a Principal Project Manager in the Renewables division, you will oversee the delivery of wind service projects, ensuring safety, quality, and financial performance while managing customer communication and project resources.
Responsibilities:
- Direct all site execution for the assigned projects holding the highest standards for safety and quality
- Oversee the project lifecycle, delivering expected project margins, including understanding job costs and projected finances at completion
- Formally work with the finance department to ensure customer invoicing and cash collection
- Deliver and assist other project managers in building and understanding the technical details of each project scope, safety and tooling requirements, and performing regular audits for quality and profitability
- Establish and set governance and oversite processes to measure performance, identifying gaps and areas for improvement
- Oversee project setup with clear expectations, and deliverables, with the appropriate tools and qualified personnel for project specific scopes
- Host multiple project reviews including at kickoff, during execution, and closure while always understanding all aspects of project status
- Systematically build relationships within customer organizations including operations, maintenance, leadership, and engineering decision-makers
- Be an active member of the sales team and represent operations on commercial reviews
- Perform periodic site and customer visits to perform safety and quality audits and ensure expected productivity is being met
- Lead assigned projects with the utmost care to promote a culture of inclusiveness, teamwork, and rewarding, developing and promoting talent while maintaining stringent focus on safety
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered
- 3+ years of progressively responsible roles within the wind industry
