CareDx, Inc. is a leading precision medicine solutions company focused on the discovery, development, and commercialization of clinically differentiated, high-value healthcare solutions for transplant patients and caregivers. CareDx is seeking a seasoned Epic Project Manager to lead the Epic Phase 2 implementation, ensuring successful delivery of a multi-module Epic deployment that supports transplant care initiatives and interoperability goals.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the central point of coordination for Epic Phase 2, aligning stakeholders across IT, clinical operations, and vendor teams
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for Beaker, MyChart, and Cadence modules
- Lead cross-functional teams including Epic analysts, builders, trainers, and external consultants. Oversee resource allocation and onboarding
- Act as liaison between CareDx and Epic Systems, ensuring alignment on scope, deliverables, and timelines
- Identify risks and mitigation strategies, manage escalations, and ensure timely resolution of issues
- Facilitate governance board approvals, executive updates, and internal team alignment meetings
- Oversee training plans, super user programs, and post-go-live support for all Epic Phase 2 modules
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading large-scale Epic implementations, including Beaker, MyChart, and Cadence
- 10+ years in healthcare IT project management, preferably with Epic certification
- Demonstrated experience working in a diagnostic laboratory environment, with a strong understanding of lab workflows, compliance standards, and integration of laboratory information systems
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of related experience, or
- Master's degree with 6 years of related experience, or
- Ph.D. with 3 years of related experience, or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Epic Aura and integration with external systems like Salesforce and Redox
- Hands-on experience collaborating with diagnostic lab teams to implement and optimize Epic Beaker or similar laboratory modules
- Familiarity with transplant care workflows and interoperability standards
- Ability to navigate governance structures and equip clinical champions with advocacy tools
