Eaton is a global technology leader in power management solutions, and they are seeking an EVCI Systems Integration Engineer. The primary function of this role is to develop scalable tools for integrating electrical distribution equipment and EV chargers, while providing engineering support and collaborating with various teams to commercialize EVCI system designs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable front-end (commercial) tools / design templates to seamlessly integrate electrical distribution equipment & EV chargers from the combined Eaton / ChargePoint portfolio; You will write, and review/revise Master Guide Spec. documents as required
- Collaborate with Application Engineers to call on electrical engineers at related consulting firms, across the assigned sales territory, to assist with technical design and position Eaton’s integrate EVCI systems in a preferred position
- Provide support on major integrated EVCI solution projects, including submittal drawings and interfacing directly with customers and project consultants
- Work with institutional end users to gain acceptance and promote Eaton’s packaged EVCI systems integrated with Power Distribution equipment
- Conduct product seminars and training on Eaton products and solutions to: end users, consultants and sales engineers / agents
- Assist customers with design build opportunities
- Collaborate with the Global EVCI Systems Integration Manager in creating processes to quote packaged EVCI systems integrated with Power Distribution equipment
- Coordinate with internal and external engineering teams to ensure the successful execution of the DC high power charging systems
- Establish and manage the bill of materials for DC high power charging systems integrated with Power Distribution and other DER assets (Solar, BESS, etc)
- Utilize understanding of pull-through Power Distribution and competitive dynamics when packaging integrated EVCI solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of technical sales and/or electrical engineering experience

- Bachelor's degree in electrical or power systems engineering from an accredited institution
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE / P.Eng) designation
- Two (2) years of experience in the design and layout of Protection, Control and Monitoring Systems using components & assemblies (Eaton product experience preferred)
- Experience with both Medium and Low-Voltage systems
- Ability to write technical specifications for new projects
