Senior Backend Engineer - .NET/C#

Janea Systems is a dynamic team of software engineering specialists providing high-impact software development services to Fortune 500 companies. They are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their consulting team, where the role involves working on high-profile projects at the forefront of the software industry.

Requirements:

• 5+ years development experience with backend technologies, including experience with modern backend architecture (i.e. microservices, etc.)
• 3+ years development experience with .NET/C# (with ASP.NET)
• Experience building and deploying solutions on cloud services (Azure preferred)
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
• Fast learner with a can-do attitude and exceptional problem-solving abilities
• Self-sufficient, proactive, and comfortable working collaboratively on remote projects
• Experience in a client-facing role managing and delivering software engineering projects
• English skills (ability to effectively communicate via written and spoken English)
• A degree in computer science (or equivalent)
• Experience architecting solutions on modern backend platforms
• Strong understanding of DevOps concepts and process and CI/CD tools
