Civil Engineering Technician (Remote)

Keystone Recruitment is seeking a Civil Engineering Technologist and Technician to contribute subject matter expertise to advanced AI model training initiatives. In this remote role, you will apply your civil design and technical knowledge to help develop intelligent systems that better understand infrastructure planning, drafting, and construction processes.

Responsibilities:

• Annotate, review, and validate civil engineering data for AI training purposes
• Translate complex civil engineering concepts, workflows, and documentation into structured training inputs
• Provide expertise in civil drafting, design methodologies, and construction documentation standards
• Collaborate with technical and AI teams to improve model accuracy and domain understanding
• Review technical content for clarity, consistency, and alignment with industry standards
• Communicate insights and findings clearly in written documentation and virtual meetings
• Stay current with evolving civil engineering practices and integrate relevant updates into training materials

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in civil design, drafting, or construction documentation
• Proficiency with industry-standard CAD and civil design software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Ability to simplify and clearly explain technical engineering concepts
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical teams
• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or data annotation projects
• Previous experience working in remote or technology-driven environments
