Synmatch AI is an innovative AI company transforming how engineering teams work with their leading AI Agent platform. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to build pipeline and connect with engineering leaders and decision-makers in the US market, focusing on lead qualification and strategic outreach.
Responsibilities:
- Pipeline Building: Qualify leads and set up high-quality meetings for the Account Executive team, ensuring a strong foundation for sales success
- Prospect & Qualify: Engage engineering leaders and decision-makers through strategic cold outreach via email, LinkedIn, and calls, maintaining 60+ activities per day
- Outbound Excellence: Shape and manage targeted outbound campaigns, collaborating with Marketing to optimize messaging and improve conversion rates
- Engage & Tell Great Stories: Spark interest in AI solutions through compelling storytelling and value-driven conversations that resonate with technical audiences
- GTM Engineering: Experiment with creative approaches to reach high-level target personas, utilizing modern prospecting tools and methodologies
- Iterate & Improve: Analyze outreach performance, test new approaches, and continuously refine the SDR playbook for maximum effectiveness
Requirements:
- Solid and proven experience in outbound activities within a B2B SaaS environment, with a track record of success in pipeline generation
- Demonstrated ability to showcase convincing results, such as overachieving quota for multiple quarters in previous SDR or similar roles
- Experience pitching complex technical solutions, with bonus points for experience in AI, CAD, CAE, or engineering automation technologies
- Strong resilience and growth mindset, with the ability to handle rejections gracefully and iterate quickly on outreach strategies
- Proficiency with CRM systems, cold outreach tools, and LinkedIn prospecting (experience with Salesforce, Clay, Sales Navigator, Aircall preferred)
- Genuine enthusiasm for hunting opportunities and connecting with prospects in competitive markets
- Previous experience selling to engineering leaders or technical decision-makers
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies or engineering software solutions
- Experience with advanced prospecting tools like Clay
- Track record in early-stage or high-growth technology companies
