Keystone Recruitment is seeking a Senior Network Deployment and Operations Engineer with extensive experience in IP or Optical networking. This role involves providing technical leadership and operational oversight for large-scale network infrastructure deployments, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and operational oversight for IP or Optical network deployments
- Ensure infrastructure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality
- Develop and manage deployment schedules, scope, and resource allocation
- Facilitate technical discussions across engineering, operations, and data center teams
- Identify risks, propose solutions, and drive innovation in deployment processes
- Ensure adherence to networking standards, best practices, and SLAs
- Define and track KPIs including deployment speed, quality, efficiency, and SLA adherence
- Analyze performance data to improve processes and decision-making
- Provide data-driven insights to senior leadership
- Manage relationships with vendors and external partners
- Ensure contractual obligations and quality standards are met
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across network engineering, data center engineering, and operations
- Maintain structured reporting for senior leadership
- Communicate program status, risks, mitigation strategies, and opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in IP or Optical network deployment
- Proven track record delivering large-scale network infrastructure projects
- Strong technical expertise in IP networking protocols, architectures, and technologies
- Experience with program management, operations, and process improvement
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities
