James Search Group is partnering with a fast-growing technology consultancy that delivers cutting-edge cloud solutions. They are seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues, and collaborate with teams to improve cloud-based processes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first and second-line support to clients using AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues including virtual machines, networking, storage, and security configurations
- Monitor system performance and availability, escalating complex issues when needed
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to improve cloud-based tools and processes
- Assist with system updates, patch management, and backup procedures
- Help document processes and build a knowledge base for repeatable issues and resolutions
Requirements:
- 0–4+ years of experience in a cloud support, IT support, systems administration, or similar technical role
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a desire to learn and grow in the cloud space
- Knowledge of Linux or Windows system administration is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
