Infosoft, Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for their Healthcare Diagnostics division to support enterprise network operations. The role focuses on configuration, troubleshooting, and execution of network changes with a deep understanding of Software-Defined Access technology.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and deployment of robust, scalable, and secure network solutions based on Cisco SDA and other SDN -based infrastructure
- Collaborate with internal teams to operate, adjust, and optimize policy-based automation and segmentation across the network
- Provide strategic guidance on network transformation projects, including adoption of SDA, automation, and security architectures
- Analyze network traffic, performance metrics, and make proactive adjustments to improve system stability and reliability
- Ensure network implementations and configurations comply with design and industry best practices, security policies, and regulatory requirements
- Serve as escalation points for operational teams, with strong troubleshooting skills drive resolution of incidents
- Provide network SME operational break/fix support for Priority 1/Major service outages
- Provide regular status reports, project updates, and network health reports to management
- Mentor and develop junior network engineers and administrators
- Stay up-to-date with the latest networking trends and technologies, particularly those around SD-WAN, SDA, SDN, and automation
- Review and interpret SOW/SOPs for change requests
- Validate solutions with the global architecture team
- Prepare configurations, execute implementations, and support post-deployment
- Daily stand-up with EU teams each morning
- Troubleshooting issues such as: User connectivity failures, Site outages, Application/network issues, Wireless connectivity problems
- Role is operations-heavy, not design-focused
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco SDA (Software Defined Access) – essential
- Working knowledge of Cisco DNA Center
- Working knowledge of Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine)
- Working knowledge of Cisco switching and wireless
- Working knowledge of network segmentation & micro-segmentation
- Senior-level enterprise network operations
- Strong troubleshooting across LAN/WAN/Wireless
- Working with protocols, security, and automation
- Ability to perform hands-on configuration and implementation
- Execute changes safely without impacting existing systems
- Perform post go live support
- Minimum of 5+ years in network engineering and solution designing, with a focus on enterprise-level networking solutions
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco SDA technology, including Cisco DNA Center, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Cisco Catalyst switches, and Cisco Wireless LAN controllers
- Deep knowledge of Software-Defined Networking (SDN), network automation, and network security
- Proficient in network protocols, including BGP, OSPF, LISP, MPLS, VXLAN, and EVPN
- Experience with network segmentation, micro-segmentation, and policy-driven networks
- Experience with Cisco SDA, Cisco Meraki, VMware NSX, or other SD-WAN and SDN technologies
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) with a focus on enterprise networks or network design (preferably with a focus on SDA)
- Familiarity with cloud-based networking (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid networking solutions and automation tools like Ansible, Python, or Terraform for network management and orchestration
- Knowledge of cloud-native networking and integration with hybrid cloud environments
- Cisco CCNP strongly preferred
- CCIE is a major plus, but not required
- Additional Technologies (Nice to Have / Common in the Environment): Meraki, VMware NSX, SD WAN
