Functional Business Analyst

RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Functional Business Analyst to work in a project team setting. The role involves defining functional requirements, creating documentation, writing user stories, and facilitating testing with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the business stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements
• Work with the business stakeholders and project team to document requirements
• Work with the project team and system owners to identify and document impacted systems
• Conduct requirements walkthroughs with various cross functional teams and vendor partners
• Assist vendor partners and cross functional teams in creating user stories
• Work with the project team to identify highest priority functionality to be delivered in each sprint
• Create test plan and orchestrate testing
• Hand off the test plan to Testing Analyst and QE team for execution
• Provide help and guidance as needed during testing

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience working in the Retail industry
• Understand how product moves from inventory management to distribution center to stores/customers
• Experience with Atlassian suite, specifically Jira and Confluence
• Comfortable working in a hybrid Agile and Waterfall approach
• Experience with facilitating testing with the business stakeholders
• Ability to gather requirements
• Ability to document processes
• Ability to gauge the system/solution meets the requirements
• Create test plans from requirements
• Driving the effort
