Network Engineer

JPS Tech Solutions is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, secure, and support enterprise network infrastructure across a multi-site manufacturing organization. The role is critical in ensuring network reliability, performance, and security while collaborating closely with infrastructure, systems, and security teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, and wireless environments
• Manage Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and network security controls
• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of network infrastructure
• Monitor network health and respond to performance or security incidents
• Troubleshoot advanced routing, switching, firewall, and connectivity issues
• Serve as an escalation point for complex network and security problems
• Implement segmentation, least-privilege access, and security best practices
• Support PCI And Other Applicable Compliance Requirements
• Collaborate with IT leadership on network architecture, standards, and roadmap planning
• Identify risks, technical debt, and infrastructure improvement opportunities
• Create and maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams
• Partner with cross-functional teams on enterprise IT initiatives

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise networking environments
• Strong hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies
• Experience managing firewalls as security appliances
• Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues in live production environments
• Calm, methodical approach during outages or high-pressure situations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in manufacturing or multi-site environments
• Exposure to compliance-driven or regulated IT environments
• Familiarity with network monitoring and security tools
