HealthEdge is seeking an exceptional Lead Network Engineer to oversee corporate networking operations across a globally distributed organization. This hands-on technical leadership role involves managing a small team while being deeply involved in the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of the corporate network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of corporate network infrastructure across multiple global office locations (India, US, The Philippines)
- Foster a culture of customer service excellence, accountability, and continuous learning to delight our end users
- Manage and mentor a team of 1-2 network engineers, providing technical guidance and professional development
- Oversee office network stacks including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and related infrastructure
- Troubleshoot complex network issues remotely across geographically distributed sites
- Develop and maintain network documentation, standards, and best practices
- Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and technology refresh cycles
- Collaborate with Corporate IT, Information Security, Product Infrastructure, and application teams on cross-functional initiatives
- Manage vendor relationships for network hardware, software, and support services
- Monitor network performance and implement optimization strategies
- Drive network architecture decisions that support business growth and security requirements
Requirements:
- 7+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise environments
- Strong expertise with enterprise networking technologies: switching, routing, VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN
- Experience with major network vendors (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Meraki, or similar)
- Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot networks remotely across multiple sites
- 1-2 years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing technical team members
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience supporting global, distributed workforce environments
- Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible)
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and contractual negotiations
