Mid-Level Hogan Systems Engineer II

KPG99 INC is seeking a Mid-Level Hogan Systems Engineer II with strong experience in Hogan core banking systems. The role involves hands-on development, production support, and collaboration with cross-functional technical teams in a banking environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and support Hogan core banking modules
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with technical teams to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis
• Contribute to system design, enhancements, and SDLC processes
• Support junior developers and assist with technical guidance
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Hogan core banking systems
• Solid expertise in at least one Hogan module
• Strong programming skills within the Hogan environment
• Hands-on development, production support, and collaboration with cross-functional technical teams in a banking environment
• Proficiency in at least one Hogan module, such as: ILP, IDS, CIS, ODS, FSS, UMB
• Strong programming skills in: COBOL, JCL, Easytrieve
• REXX or Assembler experience is a plus
• Experience with batch processing and APIs
• Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure systems and IT delivery projects
• Strong understanding of financial institution operations, including: Deposit processing, Loan processing, Monetary transactions, ACH and wire transfers, ATM/debit card activity, General ledger reconciliation
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Hogan Applications Development, IT Delivery Projects, or enterprise infrastructure systems
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Hogan module development, implementation, and support
• Experience working in banking environments using Hogan core banking software
• Experience supporting or working within banking environments that use Hogan core banking software, such as: Wells Fargo Bank, PNC Bank, KeyBank, U.S. Bank
